Installation of a 3kW Grid Tied System on a farm near Kogelberg Nature Reserve (with back-up)

This 3kw solar panel system with back-up system was installed by the ExSolar team at a charming family home situated on the Palmietrivier on the outskirts of the Kogelberg Nature Reserve.
The system consisted of:

12 x 250W 24V solar panels
1 x Solar Controller – Grid Tie Inverter (3kw)
8 x Battery 48V, 200Ah Lead Crystal Battery Bank
1 x Victron Energy Quattro 48/5000/70 230V Inverter
Solar cable, mounting frames, connectors DC fuses, 20A AC breaker
Saddles, cable ties, insulating flashing, silicon sealant, raw bolts, mains isolator, bus bar cable
