1. Online Bookings
By booking with ExSolar Solar Solutions, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

- Online bookings qualify for a 10% discount on the first hour labour rate.
- Materials (e.g., solar panels, inverters, wiring, fuses etc) are not included in the quoted price and, if required, will incur additional costs.
- Labour exceeding one (1) hour will be charged as required.
- Travel outside of Somerset West is charged separately.
- All prices exclude VAT.
- Where work exceeds one hour, if an email quotation is required prior to conducting/continuing with the repairs, please advise.
- Customer approval and payment are required before any additional work proceeds.
- Payment is due immediately upon booking online, following receipt of a Pro Forma invoice via email.
- Additional costs must be settled promptly to avoid delays in service.
- Accepted payment methods: EFT, Credit Card or Cash.
- Should payment be made by cash deposit into our account a 2.5% handling fee will apply.
- All prices exclude VAT.
- A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Refunds or rescheduled appointments are subject to this notice period and must be requested via email.
- Customers must provide accurate information at the time of booking, including site details and energy requirements.
- Customers must ensure clear and safe access to the worksite for installation or maintenance.
- Workmanship is guaranteed for:
- 1 year on solar panel installations and related components.
- 90 days on electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Guarantees apply only to fully paid work and cover only work performed by ExSolar Solar Solutions.
- We accept no liability for:
- Pre-existing issues such as faulty wiring or structural defects.
- Damage to underground cables, irrigation systems, gardens, plaster, paint, walls, or similar structures.
- Delays or scope changes arising from unforeseen complications.
- For Victron Energy products in the new sustainable packaging purchased from 27 August 2025onwards, ExSolar Solar Solutions will securely store a record of the Bluetooth login information, including the PUK code, to assist clients in the event of lost credentials.
- To access these credentials, our team will need to open the product packaging at the time of processing the order. This process will not affect the condition or warranty of the product.
- Clients who do not wish for ExSolar to store this information must notify us in writing at [email protected]. By opting out, the client acknowledges and agrees that ExSolar Solar Solutions cannot be held liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising from the loss of these credentials and any subsequent inability to access the system’s monitoring and control features.
- If no written opt-out is received, ExSolar will assume consent to store this information for support purposes.
- Customer data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Personal information will not be shared without explicit consent.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including (but not limited to):
- Extreme weather
- Accidents
- Supply chain disruptions
- Additional costs may apply in such cases.
